This policy covers how Cana Vineyards ships wine and other orders.

 

All orders are shipped on regular business days where Cana is open, Monday, Thursday or Friday. Most orders received after 1:00 p.m. EST are processed the next business day. All orders are processed as quickly as possible, within 3-5 business days, with the occasional exceptions due to weather conditions. During unusually hot or cold weather, Cana Vineyards may delay the shipment of your wine, or will ship only if your order will arrive by Friday. We do this to preserve the quality of our wines, as we want them to arrive to you in premium condition.

 

Cana Vineyards can ship wine to CA, DC, FL, MD, NY, and VA.

Cana Vineyards shipping rates are based on FedEx Ground rate schedules. Arrival can depend on distance from our winery. We do not offer International sales or shipping. We cannot deliver wine to P.O. boxes, so please provide a physical address where someone 21 or older can sign for the wine. By placing your order, you represent to Cana Vineyards that you are at least 21 years old. The recipient may be required to produce identification to demonstrate proof of age. Wine will not be delivered to a visibly intoxicated person. All packages containing alcohol must be signed for upon delivery by an adult (21 or older). FedEx will not leave such packages on door steps, even if the recipient has requested this. FedEx will attempt to deliver packages containing alcohol three times before sending it back to Cana Vineyards and Winery of Middleburg. Please note, Cana Vineyards is not responsible for additional shipping charges should this happen. These restrictions do not affect shipping of non-wine products. We are happy to ship non-wine orders anywhere in the U.S. We cannot ship wine to PO, FPO, APO or IPO boxes.

 

Certain state laws regulate the number of cases of wine that can be shipped to a single person. If your order is affected by this type of law, Cana Vineyards will contact you.
