100% locally-sourced Merlot, gently pressed to give a pale peach color. Ripe strawberries and watermelon in the nose, with melon, white cherry, and soft red fruit on the palate. These vines are grown in soil with high stone content, giving a crisp and fresh minerality to the wine. A refreshing and thirst-quenching style.
The fruit was chilled overnight, then destemmed and lightly crushed prior to pressing for gentle color extraction. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and bottled January 2022.
