50% Merlot, 46% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc - the "marriage" of grapes in one of our signature red blends.
The 2016 growing season was quite hot and was followed by a very dry harvest season, delivering ripe and concentrated flavors, particularly in our red grapes. In the 16 Le Mariage the aroma is a ripe berry patch, with bright red fruit notes of raspberry and cherry, surrounded by warm wood and baking spice. The palate layers juicy dark cherry and pomegranate flavors with firm oak and a bright lift of black pepper, with fine-grained tannin persisting on the close. Barrel-aged 18 months in seasoned French oak.
