A beautiful ruby color introduces the richness of our 2017 Cabernet Franc. Pronounced aromas of black raspberry, vanilla, and black cherry mingle with warm charred oak and a lift of black pepper. Richly textured with ripe fruit flavors persisting through the very long and smooth finish.
90% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot, harvested October 2017. The fruit was fermented on the skins in open-top fermenters with twice-daily punchdowns. Barrel-aged for 15 months in 20% new French oak. 239 cases.
