Warm browned butter and charred wood aromas are layered over a concentrated black cherry and black raspberry core. Well-integrated oak on the palate with supple tannin and lingering black fruit.
100% Merlot, hand-harvested October 2015. Fermented on the skins in open-top fermenters with twice-daily punchdowns. Barrel-aged for 18 months in neutral oak. Bottled April 2017, 269 cases.
